Pakistan has immense reserves of various minerals and natural resources that include coal, gold, copper, bauxite, mineral salt, chromite, iron ore; precious and semi-precious minerals including ruby, topaz, emerald and many others.

The principal rock types like granite, limestone, marble, sandstone, and slate. Offering excellent uniformity of texture and colour, freedom from flaws, suitability for polishing and carving, and resistance to weathering.

The conventional exports from Pakistan include home furniture, textile, leather and sports good, surgical instruments and a lot more; whereas other potential exports not yet explored fully include industrial oils, metal casted and fabricated products (including automobile parts, strong room doors, strong rooms, cabinets, security vaults etc.), engineering products and machinery (including auto-rakshaws, motorcycles, packaging and filling machinery, engineering software), semi-processed foods, ready foods etc.
